Hope Medical Supply provides local delivery of home medical equipment, rehab equipment, home medical supplies, orthotics and pedorthics in and around South Texas, San Antonio and Corpus Christi, and Austin.
Hope Medical Supply provides nationwide delivery of urological supplies (incontinence products, urinary catheters and VEDs).
All orders receive the following, where applicable:
- Patient assessment for safety and appropriate use of the item(s) ordered
- Custom Evaluation by RESNA-Certified ATP for Specialty Rehab Products
- Home safety assessment of all medical equipment delivered to the home
- Product recommendations to physician and/or customer
- Equipment delivery, set up, operational check, and adjustment or fitting
- Patient and caregiver instruction, training, and in-service, and re-instruction or other follow-up in person or over the telephone as needed
- Referrals to other agencies or healthcare providers as needed
- Coordination of care with physician and/or other healthcare provider
- Health insurance reimbursement expertise, including:
- Verification of health insurance eligibility, benefits and coverage
- Obtaining medical necessity documentation
- Obtaining clinical and progress notes
- Health insurance requirements to ensure coverage and reimbursement
- Compliance documentation and reports
- Resubmission, reworking and appealing denied health insurance claims
After hours service, for customers needing repair or service on life sustaining equipment and for patients needing equipment or supplies in order to discharge from a hospital or other facility.
We conduct product and technology in-service training for physicians and other medical personnel regarding the equipment we provide.
Our staff is comprised of highly trained employees who specialize in providing the highest level of service to our customers. At all times, we employ a Licensed Respiratory Therapist who provides clinical oversight to our respiratory department. We employ a Licensed Orthotist who provides custom and off the shelf orthotics. Our Rehab Department is headed by a RESNA Certified ATP.
