Just a brief note to thank you, your supervisor and the management of Hope Medical for making it possible for me to travel out of town for the first time in three years. You made it by allowing me to carry standby (emergency equipment) to assure that a medical emergency did not arise during the 5-6 day auto travel to visit close relatives in north eastern Texas who were recovering from severe illness.

The equipment, fortunately, did not have to be used but did a great deal to assure my wife that should a problem arise that I had the equipment to survive a short time emergency, should it occur. Customer Service

Our business is to make your job easier and to provide quality care to your patients.

Delivery & Set-Up: We cover San Antonio and Corpus Christi, a 70-mile radius of both cities, and points between. Delivery service, set-up, and patient instruction are free of charge, or you may pick up your equipment and supplies at our San Antonio and Corpus Christi locations.

On-call Service: Special assistance is available through a 24-hour on-call service.

Discharge Assistance: We work directly with physicians and discharge planners to insure smooth transitions from institutional to home care.

Emergency Preparedness: Hope Medical Supply staff are trained and ready to respond to support our patients in case of natural disaster or other emergency.

Patient Instruction and Training: A trained staff of home health care experts ensures that each patient, caregiver and/or family is fully trained in the operation, care and safe use of equipment. We also provide respiratory health education to seniors in assisted living centers.

Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Trained staff meet with and assess the patient's needs. We also perform an evaluation of our clients for specialized products, of our client's home for wheelchair accessibility and of the feasibility of wheelchair transport for our clients.

Consultations: Staff will meet, as required, with referral personnel or with the patient to solve any matter involving home care equipment or service.

Reimbursement Expertise: Hope Medical Supply employs highly specialized, expert in-house billing staff. With each order, our employees work to verify eligibility and benefits as well as authorizations, and any necessary referrals from your insurance company. We also employee experts in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement.
